Hi! I’m Samantha. My husband and I have six kids and we live in Texas. My passion is creating! I love cooking, sewing, photography, writing, drawing and painting. All of these are a great stress relievers from long days in a busy house full of kids. And they make me happy.
I started my baby boutique, NorahJane, in 2016. Named after our littlest one of the bunch, I’ve really enjoyed creating clothing and accessories for babies and toddlers. I specialize in vintage styles, especially from the 1960s and 70s. I love collecting vintage Simplicity and McCall’s patterns and turning them into one of kind outfits.
In my first ever sewing blog, I’ll share with you my new love of upcycling and treasure hunting at the thrift store. We’ll do fun projects you can make for your vintage loving babes. We’ll explore fabrics and trims. I’ll also share tips I’ve learned along the way. And don’t worry, there won’t be any crazy, impossible sewing here. Finally, I’ll post glimpses into new things happening in the boutique!
